Erica Maciel

Erica is a native of Bristol, Rhode Island and continued to be a resident of this small state when she moved to Newport to attend Salve Regina University. In 2017, she received her Bachelor’s degree and in 2021 she continued her education to receive her Master’s degree both from Salve Regina University in Business and Marketing.

 

Erica fell in love with the hospitality industry when she attended the Disney College Program in 2015 while working at the Grand Floridian. Since then, she has worked as a baker and decorator at Cupcake Charlie’s and was also the Senior Sales Assistant at Longwood Venues (Newport Beach House and Belle Mer).

 

Fun Facts about Erica:

• I still have an annual pass to Disney and go there once or twice a year but my favorite place to vacation would probably be France!

• If I wasn’t in events, I would probably be working at a beach bar in the South Carolina.

• I love sharks and I want to go cage diving someday.
