Nicola "Niki" Smith

Director of Operations

Niki grew up in Middletown, Rhode Island where her family roots are deep. She has worked in the hospitality and food industry for 30 years, encompassing everything from hotels and resorts to restaurants and yacht clubs.

 

Her previous experience as a Concierge, Activities Director, Reservations Director, and General Manager, have given her the skills needed to coordinate events ranging from a 900 person synchronized corporate dinner, to an intimate fine dining experience for 6 people.

 

Since joining the Blackstone Caterers team in 2013 as Director of Operations, her attention to service and detail is reflected into every event, no matter how small or large the party.

Fun Facts About Niki:

  • I have not one goat, but two as pets and their names are Jack & Billy.

  • My secret addiction is ice cream and my favorite flavor is pumpkin!

  • I have been a vegetarian for 30 years.
