Cindy Briggs

Event Manager

Cindy joined the Blackstone team in May of 2000 as a waitstaff and several years later became an Event Manager. She is a lifelong resident of Aquidneck Island, growing up in Middletown and then moving to Portsmouth to raise her family. She graduated Cum Laude from URI with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Textiles and Marketing and a Minor in Sociology and Psychology.

Cindy has been in the hospitality industry for over forty years and has helped manage special events including Corinthian Events, the US Women’s Open in 2006, numerous galas for the Norman Bird Sanctuary and IYRS, CVS Charity Classic Golf Tournament and Tennis Weeks at the International Tennis Hall of Fame, along with many beautiful weddings and parties. Cindy enjoys using her years of experience and love of hospitality to make every event special.

I enjoy having dinners and parties at my house to spend time with family and friends.
I love gardening and watching sports.
Dream Vacations are to Australia and Hawaii!
